Adriana Ciudad Witzel has a master in painting with Prof. Favre by the UdK Berlin. The Peruvian-German painter always establishes strong colors, traditional street ceremonies or folkloric imagery as references to her Latin American background. She focuses on scenes in public spaces. Whether it’s punks on May 1, people in line at the chicken stand in Görlitzer Park in Kreuzberg or scenes from the underground techno temple Berghain.

Adriana Ciudad Witzel hat bei Prof. Favre einen Meister an der UDK Berlin gemacht. Die Malerin mit peruanisch-deutscher Herkunft etabliert immer wieder starke Farben, landestypische Straßenzeremonien oder folkloristische Symboliken als Zitate ihrer lateinamerikanischen Herkunft. Ihr Thema sind Szenerien im öffentlichen Raum. Seien es Punks am 1. Mai, die Menschenschlange am Hühnchenstand im Görlitzer Park in Kreuzberg oder Szenerien aus dem Underground-Techno-Tempel Berghain.
