We are happy to present our new artist Zahra Holm and four of her works which we are showing exclusively through our gallery.
Currently based between Paris and Stockholm, Zahra was born in Sweden and partly raised in Tunisia. Growing up between these worlds, she was shaped by distinct cultural landscapes and rhythms of life that continue to inform her work today. Her interest in art developed early and led her to study interior architecture and stage design, disciplines that now underpin her evolving practice as a painter.

“I’m drawn in by the layered quality of her work, the tension between ease and precision and her incredibly distinctive brushstroke. What I love most is how the paintings feel rooted in Middle Eastern visual sensibilities while simultaneously echoing elements of cubism and Scandinavian restraint.”
Dirk Staudinger, CEO of Circle Culture

“I see a sensitive brushstroke shaped by strength. Each painting sustaining itself in a dialogue between positive and negative space. A moonlike face emerges, like a paper cut, where two perspectives coexist and create depth. The form along the right edge never quite touches, generating balance and dynamic tension that allows the work to hold itself.”
Cara Lea, In-house Art Historian and Curator

“When I first saw Zahra’s works, I immediately felt a sense of purity and joy radiating from them. They reminded me of shifting dunes, forms that seem to move and reshape themselves as you look at them. There’s something ephemeral in their presence. I simply found myself smiling in front of them and that stayed with me.”
Lilith Jandrig, Director

Zahra has exhibited in Paris, London and Mexico City. Her work has been featured in Femmes d’Art, MilkMagazine, Vogue, Vanity Fair and Ideat Magazine. In 2024, she designed the artwork for the Chloé Parfum Spring Gift Set, a project reflecting her signature organic and feminine forms inspired by nature and flowers.
We are the first gallery to represent her on Artsy. A rare opportunity for our collectors to acquire and experience her evolving vision firsthand.
