Bringing together four distinct artistic voices, the Berlin Summer Showroom moves between colour, reflection, layered surfaces and figurative work.
Marcel Rozek’s large painting #328 fills the gallery with colour. Its bright red, yellows and blues recall ice cream, warm afternoons and days spent by the water.
Kanta Kimura’s mirror work U.M.6 reflects the gallery and its large windows, allowing the changing light of the Berlin summer to become part of the work. His expansive blue painting U.87 recalls the mountains and the sea, while his table created with Julia von Werz Napier brings painting into the centre of the room and invites a more immediate encounter with art.
Marco Reichert’s painting draws the eye into a surface of shifting colours and overlapping layers. Like reflections on water, his sculpture changes depending on where you stand and how the light falls across it. The silver surface catches the daylight and moves between brightness and shadow, giving the work a different presence throughout the day. Both works hold something fleeting, like impressions of places and moments that stay with us after summer has passed.
Kevin Earl Taylor’s Feeding the Breed brings human and animal figures together in an unexpected scene. Positioned by the gallery window, the work forms a playful connection with the greenery outside.
Together, the works offer different impressions of the season, from colour and warmth to water, light and changing perspectives. While the gallery is currently between exhibitions, the showroom can be discovered from the street and explored online.
The presentation is on view until the end of August 2026. Private viewings can be arranged by appointment.
