Circle Culture Gallery is thrilled to announce “NUCLEUS – The One Artwork Show,” an unconventional exhibition series that invites viewers to experience art in its most focused form. Located at Gipsstraße 11 in Berlin, this series will feature four talented artists, each showcased through a single, powerful work of art in an otherwise empty gallery space. Curated by Johann Haehling von Lanzenauer, the series seeks to explore the core aspects of our time through the lens of simplicity and concentration.
As the second artist to exhibit in the new NUCLEUS project by Circle Culture Gallery, Marco Reichert has ventured into the field of sculptural work, inviting viewers to explore his latest installation piece from a novel perspective. By incorporating a flat basin filled with black ink, Reichert transforms this medium into a reflective surface akin to a mirror. This unique setup allows observers to experience the sculpture from beneath, capturing its distorted and mirrored image and offering a myriad of perspectives that extend beyond conventional viewing angles.
Kanta Kimura: July 6 – July 27
Marco Reichert: August 3 – August 17
Tim Plamper: August 24 – August 31
Julien Saudubray: September 7 – September 21
OPENING HOURS:

We live in an economy of attention. Everything around us competes for our consideration: ideas, ideologies, products, lifestyles or simply the quest for love or respect in social contexts. We are literally bombarded with information on every level of our existence via media, tech, bureaucracy, politics, family and friendships. Never before in human history has the sheer volume and speed of information been so overwhelming. While this constant influx brings inspiration, comfort, knowledge and connection, it also can make us feel overwhelmed, create despair or frustration and can lead to mental health issues. That said: there is nothing more radical, healthy and beautiful than embracing simplicity and taking the time to slow down and truly appreciate things.
Circle Culture Gallery aims to explore this core aspect of our time through an ongoing exhibition series that celebrates maximum focus. Exhibitions featuring a single work of art in an otherwise empty gallery. No distraction by other works. Full focus on one artist’s creation.
