A one-of-a-kind studio visit. Our CEO Dirk Staudinger organized a visit to Jeff Koons studio in New York.
This visit was motivated by the wish to bring him on board as a speaker for the international online marketing conference OMR in Hamburg on the 7th and 8th of May 2024 under the Umbrella of Cc Art Collaborations. They experienced an in-depth exchange about his work and all the thinking, science and craft that underlies it in his studio in New York. His perspective and reflection on life in general was incredibly inspiring and captivating. It showed once again how valuable an exchange with artists can be. Our personal motivation with Circle Culture is to facilitate such experiences as they are so enriching. It takes diverse external stimulus to break current beliefs and tap into future/new world thinking. With our „Global Thinkers Network“ which we have developed over the past 25 years, an unrivaled pool of visionary entrepreneurs, environmentalists, space engineers, MIT & Harvard professors, architects, biotech designers, best-selling authors, scientists, philosophers, designers and international renowned artists comes together to do just that.
Artists play without fear of making mistakes, they have an openness to trial and error. Artists have their very own perspective and know how to think “outside of the box”. Artists reinvent the world with their works.
Here some quotes from leading business entrepreneurs who think the same:
“We are lifting up rocks to find new solutions to problems, and we are looking in places that maybe many people aren`t looking. Working with artists and designers, you get different points of view, and that cross-pollination of creativity to me is really rich. It creates a fertile place for new ideas to start.”
– Mark Parker (Former CEO Nike)
“Designers and artist see potential in things where others do not. I think artists in many ways are the original entrepreneurs.”
– Brian Chesky, Co-Founder, CEO Airbnb
“It is in Apple`s DNA that technology alone is not enough. Its technology married with liberal arts, married with the humanities, that yields us the results that make our heart sing.”
– Steve Jobs
