If you look at the dresses they are all incarnations of the words “Bon Vivant””, which translates to one who enjoys the good life. While this association is usually a positive action, I instead subverted the celebratory feel of the words to speak to something more introspective. The Bon Vivant dresses are worn by an anonymous woman who spins around unceremoniously in time to the slow ticking of a clock. She barely moves. Like everyone, she is a prisoner of time. No matter how “”good”” the good life is, we are never really in control of our fate. We can pretend that we have it all figured out, but we as human beings are really just captives of time. With this in mind, there is a lesson. Enjoy every day as if it were our last.”
