Natalie Krim is an intuitive artist renowned for her explorations of intimacy and women’s issues, through her surreal and autobiographical drawings. Born in Agoura Hills, California, she currently resides in Ojai, where her art delves into raw emotion, employing lines that are simultaneously vulnerable and resilient.
Her artistic prowess has earned recognition from platforms like Vogue, which featured her in their Top 100 Artists list and acknowledged her as one of the leading erotic artists on Instagram. In 2023 Krim collaborated with Neo Shibuya TV and broadcasted her animations on eight digital billboards throughout Shibuya Crossing, recognized as “the busiest pedestrian intersection in the world.” Natalie’s advocacy for abortion rights led to an interview with i-D in 2022, shedding light on how she utilizes her art and voice to destigmatize discussions around reproductive healthcare. In 2020 Krim gained a spot in BlackBook’s revolutionary book, A Woman’s Right to Pleasure, as one of 60 of the world’s most important and well-recognized female-identifying artists like Georgia O’Keeffe, Louise Bourgeois, Judy Chicago, Tracey Emin and Jenny Holzer. Her work has received acclaim from various publications including ArtNet, Vice, Elle, L’Officiel and Purple.
Natalie’s creative collaborations extend to partnerships with brands such as HBO, Calvin Klein, Farfetch, Ace Hotels, Paper Work, Wildflower & SKIMS.
