CIRCLE CULTURE GALLERY | EXHIBITIONS AND PROJECTS SINCE 2001

Founded in 2001, Circle Culture Gallery presents international contemporary art through exhibitions in Berlin and Hamburg as well as temporary spaces, institutional partnerships and interdisciplinary projects in Germany and abroad. This selection offers an insight into the gallery’s programme and some of the exhibitions and collaborations that have shaped its history.

ART AND CULTURE AS A CATALYST FOR CHANGE

Circle Culture Gallery was founded with the belief that art can open new perspectives on culture and society. Our close dialogue with artists informs how we understand changing times, recognise emerging ideas and create connections across different cultural fields.

A DIVERSE INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME

Over the years, Circle Culture Gallery has worked with established and emerging artists across painting, photography, sculpture and installation. These selected exhibitions reflect a programme shaped by different generations, artistic approaches and cultural perspectives.

FROM THE GALLERY TO NEW CONTEXTS

Our programme has always extended beyond the conventional gallery space. Alongside exhibitions in Berlin, we have presented artists through pop-up galleries, art fairs and collaborations with cultural and commercial partners internationally.

ART IN DIALOGUE WITH ARCHITECTURE AND EVERYDAY LIFE

From historic exhibition halls to hospitality projects, private spaces and international pop-ups and companies, these projects brought contemporary art into distinctive settings. Each presentation created a new relationship between the artworks, their surroundings and their audiences.

Together, these projects offer a glimpse into the history of Circle Culture Gallery and the relationships that have shaped its development. Today, we continue this work through our galleries in Berlin and Hamburg as well as exhibitions, collaborations and projects in new contexts.
