ARTE Info Plus visited Beatriz Morales in her Berlin studio and at the Positions Art Fair 2023. This feature focuses on her unique artistic practice which makes use of the natural agave plant and pre-Hispanic dyeing techniques in order to reconnect with nature, history and culture.
On a wonderful summer night, a nice crowd of collectors, curators, artists, and friends joined our table at La Maison des Temps Artist Residency at the beautiful farmhouse in Alsace located in northern France. After hosting Ukrainian artist Iryna Maksymova as our artist in residence, we celebrated the season with a group show of fresh works out of our international roster. Nowadays it is important we humans come together, enjoy peaceful moments and cultivate empathy and peace. Arts in a nature context deliver a great setting to do so. Thank you to our co-hosts Bettina and Peter Schreck from Rizzi Restaurant, The Grill, and Geroldsauer Mühle Baden-Baden to bring such an amazing table, beautifully decorated and full of good things to eat and drink.
